3. The post office square.
The name of this wide square comes from this elegant building identified by its local sculpted stone sign with « La POSTE- TELEGRAPHE» written on it. It’s a reference as a monument with its beautiful clock. You can notice the beautifully ornamented rooves of the houses with zinc ridge spikes. On one of the house gables you can see an advertising board « BYRRH » which dates back to 1920. A coal deliveryman is supplying the inn with a cart and a horse. This square has always been the heart of our village, the meeting point to celebrate local festivals including the July 14th celebration. Whereas there are still shops all around, it is now the place where the market is held every Saturday.
